Recognition Highlights
- Awwwards: Two projects shortlisted for Site of the Day consideration.
- IAMJAMES.com.au: Nominated on Awwwards and recognised by CSS Design Awards.
- Australian Fashion Week: Shortlisted on Awwwards and awarded Special Kudos by CSS Design Awards.
- The FWA: Australian Fashion Week received a live jury score of 77/100.
Australian Fashion Week
The Australian Fashion Week platform was recognised by both Awwwards and CSS Design Awards for its editorial approach, visual restraint and immersive photographic presentation. The project expanded and contracted with the event cycle, transitioning from a rich live-event experience into a refined editorial archive during the off-season.
CSS Design Awards awarded the project a Special Kudos distinction, while international judges across UI Design, UX Design and Innovation contributed to an overall score of approximately 6.98.
IAMJAMES.com.au
The IAMJAMES portfolio was shortlisted on Awwwards and recognised by CSS Design Awards for its focus on typography, motion, performance and interaction design. The project explored a minimal visual language built around editorial layouts, carefully considered animation and a strong emphasis on clarity and usability.
Recognition from international jurors reflected strengths in user experience, visual design systems, accessibility and front-end execution.
Why These Awards Matter
Awwwards, CSS Design Awards and The FWA are among the most recognised independent platforms evaluating contemporary digital design. Projects are reviewed by designers, creative directors, developers and agency leaders from around the world against criteria including design quality, usability, innovation, content and execution.
While awards are not the goal in themselves, external recognition provides an independent benchmark for the quality of a digital experience and the effectiveness of the design decisions behind it.
Looking Forward
Both projects continue to evolve through ongoing refinement, accessibility improvements, performance optimisation and content development. Future work will continue exploring the intersection of design systems, storytelling, usability and modern front-end experiences.
