During the transition of MYER’s digital account from Hogarth to Howatson, I was responsible for preparing and composing key content across the website for the Christmas campaign and the early 2025 sales period. This involved more than just content population—I worked within MYER’s Figma design system, creating and modifying UI components to accommodate various seasonal promotions, ensuring a seamless and engaging shopping experience.

Idea

The role required working with pre-existing templates while also adapting layouts, refining components, and ensuring that each module was structured correctly before handoff to developers. Working across the homepage, beauty, men’s and women’s fashion, and promotional sales pages, I balanced brand consistency with the need to adapt to different content and campaign requirements.

Efficiency was crucial, as the seasonal nature of the project meant tight deadlines and a high volume of content updates. With an evolving set of assets and frequent adjustments, I worked closely with designers, developers, and content teams to ensure that MYER’s online presence remained polished and cohesive during one of the most critical retail periods of the year.

Impact

This project reinforced my ability to work within complex design systems, refine UI components, and deliver high-quality digital retail content at scale. It also highlighted my ability to collaborate effectively under pressure, ensuring a smooth transition for MYER’s digital platform during a key business period.
