Insight
During my time at Hogarth, I worked as a Senior Digital Designer across an intensive campaign period for Vodafone, delivering a wide range of digital, print, and OOH assets to support both retail and brand-level communications. This period coincided with Vodafone’s network expansion following its merger with TPG, as well as multiple high-profile handset launches, including Samsung’s Flip and Fold series.
Idea
The work was varied and high-volume, with assets produced for everything from homepage takeovers and EDMs to large-format print, animated banners, and retail POS. I was responsible for adapting creative across a wide range of formats and placements, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and impact while working within Vodafone’s brand and accessibility guidelines.
One key stream involved supporting Samsung’s handset launches, where we developed tailored creative across Vodafone’s digital ecosystem — showcasing device features while integrating telco-specific offers and messaging. Another major area of focus was communicating Vodafone’s expanded network coverage, helping reinforce their post-merger identity and positioning as a serious competitor to Telstra and Optus.
Impact
This body of work required close collaboration with producers, copywriters, and client teams, as well as agile turnaround on assets for reactive retail campaigns. Across the board, I helped ensure the Vodafone brand was represented clearly and cohesively at every touchpoint — from mobile banners to national print ads — during a pivotal time of change and growth for the business.
